Total System Balance
Total System Balance is the process of Testing, Adjusting and Balancing HVAC systems and subsystems to perform at the design intent and operate at the optimum level. The process includes a review of the design documents, construction observation and a methodical approach that yields verifiable results.
Water Balance
Measuring and adjusting water flow through hot and chilled water coils to provide, together with air balancing, overall space comfort.
Ultrasonic Water Balance
A non-intrusive method of balancing water systems using ultrasonic technology when balancing ports or circuit setters aren't available.
Duct Pressure Testing
Testing the amount of air leakage in a specified duct in order to identify and minimize leakage for optimum system performance.
OR & Isolation Room Testing
Balancing operating rooms, isolation rooms and other medical areas so air changes and pressure relationships comply with current regulations.
Clean Room Balancing
Balancing clean rooms to the engineer's design specifications to achieve intended air changes, pressure relationships and ISO classifications.
Fume Hood Testing
Verifying face velocities and containment performance of laboratory fume hoods to keep personnel and processes safe.
Retro-Commissioning
Diagnosing comfort and humidity problems in existing buildings. The cause is often a negatively pressurized building envelope, hydronic problems, or simply poor air distribution — we test the systems, find the root cause and recommend the fix.
Annual Health Care Room Testing
Test and verify the pressures and Air Changes per Hour (ACH) for critical rooms in health care facilities following ANSI/ASHRAE/ASHE Standard 170-2021.

Thirty years of doing it the right way
Founded in July 1994 by George Skouteris and Stephen Garner, Georgia Balance has delivered precise test and balance services for more than three decades. After 20 years as partners, Stephen Garner retired in May 2013.
In 2023, Santiago Gallo and Alexia Skouteris acquired the company. Under their leadership, the firm remains committed to the same core principles that defined it from the start: excellence, performance, accuracy, and outstanding customer service. Every technician is trained to uphold these standards.
Today Georgia Balance continues to operate with experienced leadership while integrating new technologies that deliver faster, more accurate results for clients—always guided by the ethics and craftsmanship established in 1994.
